About Me
I began my internet advertising carrer in 1998 when the duty was thrusted upon me as an extra duty to my web developer duties. I was reluctant at first but soon after the Pay per Click module was introduced it became very interesting.
I found myself consumed by it, reading and trying everything I learned. At the time when I first started I was working for a registrar, DirectNIC.com. An opportunity arose to join the marketing department at PoolCorp. Since they were a billion dollar company it gave me the chance to run many internet marketing experiments and form a solid methodology for approaching online marketing campaigns.
After Hurricane Katrina I moved from New Orleans, LA to Austin, TX where I joined a start up Internet Marketing firm called Leverage Marketing. At Leverage I was a key figure in the foundation of company. I was at one time the manager of the PPC Department, formed and managed the SEO Department, and set the foundation for their Affiliate Marketing department.
With Leverage I was able to study campaign behaviors across a broad spectrum of industries and also I learned to teach the process that I learned through years experimentation, evaluation, and adjusting.
I was recruited recently by a company and took very lucrative offer. Shortly after I switched jobs I recieved an email from one of the Leverage Marketing PPC Managers that thanked me for all that I taught him, and that he learned more from me than any of his marketing classes in college. This naturally inflated my head.
But then I thought “I really am pretty good at this, I should share this with everyone.”
